Zhiqiang Xu's research group at MBZUAI, Abu Dhabi, UAE, works broadly on theory and applied research spanning areas of machine learning, optimization, and statistics, including but not limited to the following topics: diffusion models, contrastive learning, knowledge graphs, graph neural networks, reinforcement learning, feature learning, generalization, federated/distributed learning, nonconvex/stochastic/federated/distributed optimization.
I) Recruit one postdoc and two to three RA (three years)
II) Recruit visiting scholars.
III) Recruit PhD or master students. Students with background in math, computer science, statistics etc. are welcome to reach out.
Postdoc requirements (60k - 100k USD per year，tax free，depending on experience and potential in high-quality research)
1) Passionate about high-quality research, responsibility, ability to do independent research.
2) Master of representation learning and link prediction on knowledge graphs, graph neural networks, etc.
3) Top ML publications (e.g., ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR)
RA requirements （about 30k USD per year，tax free，depending on experience and potential in high-quality research)
1) Passionate about high-quality research, responsibility
2) Solid math background or proficient in programming
3) Familiar with representation learning and link prediction on knowledge graphs, graph neural networks, etc.
4) Applicants with top ML publications are preferred
