[未知用户] I don't agree with qinghua's strategy. Raising one university's own GPA, if to say that in an economic way, that is, one company lower its stock's prize. That strategy is a way to let more people buy our stock, that means “割韭菜”, letting young people buy our stock. So I think qinghua's strategy looks like, letting more high school students comes into qinghua, and that is irresponsible for their future. Because we know, expanding the amount of students means a less concentration on each individual, and qinghua already has much students now.
Though, I think qinghua's strategy of expanding its amount of college students may be a result of the Government Of Edu(教育部)'s command. Because in fact, qinghua has a very large main campus area compare with many good school in the plan of "985". So maybe it is their responsibility to cultivate more students than other 985 school.
Now, I want to change my point of view on qinghua's strategy. Because, teenagers do not go into qinghua because of its friendly grading systems. That is not like stocks, we go into qinghua for its best reputation of so many majors in science and technology, and teenagers are too young to notice the GPA of a college when they are taking the college enrolling exam. So a raising in its GPA maybe irrelevant to influence the decision of teenagers.
Finally, I doubt qinghua has raising their GPA out of the change in its grading system. I heard that qinghua change its system only a little, from a precise grading to the hierarchy system like A, B, C, in order to prevent students compete for only 1-2 points, that is a waste of times.
