一、实验室简介
鲍芳琳教授课题组的人工智能物理实验室是一个学科交叉、适合思维碰撞的平台。实验室旨在利用物理原理与方法理解人工智能，关注物理定律所决定的人工智能的经典与量子极限；同时，我们也致力于利用人工智能来帮助发现新的物理规律。现阶段，实验室研究主题主要围绕人工智能与量子光学传感的交叉，研究方向包括：（1）热雷达，（2）量子启发式遥感，（3）人工智能的物理极限，等等。
鲍芳琳博士于2011年以及2016年分别获得浙江大学物理学士以及光学博士学位。在入职西湖大学前，鲍芳琳博士为美国普渡大学研究助理教授（research scientist）。

二、招聘岗位及条件
1.招聘岗位：
量子度量、量子光学方向的博士后（1名）;
应用光学、光学工程方向的博士后（1名）;
人工智能方向的博士后（1名）.
2.岗位职责：
独立开展相关研究、并协助带领组内其他学生成员进行研究。
3.要求：
（1）年龄不超过35周岁；已取得或即将取得博士学位；
（2）具备良好的英文沟通、阅读和写作能力；
（3）主观能动性强；
（4）有相关研究背景者优先考虑
三、薪酬待遇
1.根据个人科研工作能力提供具有市场竞争力的薪酬，具体面议。实验室将提供稳定的工作环境与一流的研究平台，协助申报博士后相关项目等。

四、资助政策
1.博士后可享受杭州市在站博士后资助政策。
2.对获得中国博士后科学基金资助和浙江省博士后择优项目资助的，杭州市给予1:1配套资助。
3.对出站留杭（来杭）工作的博士后，杭州市给予每人40万元补助。
4.对来杭工作符合条件的全球本科及以上学历应届毕业生（含毕业5年内的回国留学人员、外国人才），杭州市发放生活补贴，其中博士10万元。
5.可申请认定杭州市高层次人才，并享受相应政策。

Postdoctoral position in Bao Lab, School of Science

Introduction to the Lab/Research
Prof. Bao's laboratory of AI physics is an interdisciplinary platform that encourages collaboration and innovation. Bao Lab focuses on AI's classical and quantum limits set by physics laws. We aim to use physics to help understand AI and to use AI to help discover new physics. Our current research directions include (1) HADAR, (2) quantum-inspired remote sensing, (3) AI's physics limits, and so on. In Bao Lab, theorists and experimentalists can interact to think outside the box and make a big impact!

Job Description
Position:
Postdoctoral Fellow in quantum metrology or quantum optics (1 opening);
Postdoctoral Fellow in applied optics or optics engineering (1 opening);
Postdoctoral Fellow in Artificial Intelligence (1 opening).
Requirements:
1) Successful candidates shall lead relevant research projects, regular meetings, and workshops.
2) Postdocs are expected to interact fruitfully with other group members and students.
Other requirements:
Hold or expect to hold a Ph.D. degree by the start date; aged under 35.
Self-motivated candidates with relevant research backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

Funding

Postdocs receive a living allowance and research funding from the Hangzhou municipal government.
Recipients of funding from the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation or the Zhejiang Province Selected Funding for Postdoctoral Research Projects are entitled to supplementary funding of the same amount from the Hangzhou municipal government.
Postdocs who work full-time in Hangzhou after completing their postdoctoral research qualify for an allowance of 400,000 RMB from the Hangzhou municipal government.
Eligible new university graduates holding a doctoral degree or equivalent who work full time in Hangzhou (including those who studied abroad and returned to China within 5 years of graduation as well as foreign talent) can apply to the Hangzhou municipal government for a living allowance of 100,000 RMB.
Postdocs recognized as high-level talents in Hangzhou enjoy corresponding preferential policies.
